Our Story

Once upon a time, in Hawaii, California, and Oregon State, Reef Bound Sol, in the year 2010, began not as a clothing brand but as a band. Friends Neil Burgess (Vocals), Jeff Bruckman (Guitar/Vocals), Sean Kovich (Bass), and Glen Whitney (Drums) shared a deep love for music and the ocean, performing at local beach bars and festivals. Their soulful tunes captured coastal life, quickly building a loyal following with the release of album "Under the Sun".

After a long break period and with the advancement of technology, while Inspired by their fans' requests for merchandise, the band, along with their manager Duane R. Dallachiesa, decided to create more than just music. They envisioned an apparel and accessory line that embodied the same beachy vibes as their songs. Thus, April of 2024 Reef Bound Sol transitioned from band to brand, blending their passion for music and the ocean into stylish, comfortable clothing.

The first collection featured 4th of July and Patriotic vibrant tees, stickers, pajamas, beach towels, cozy hoodies, drink ware, and cool hats, all reflecting the carefree spirit of the coast. Each design was a nod to their musical roots, with prints inspired by sunsets, waves, and surf culture.

Reef Bound Sol's transformation has just begun, finding new fans not only with the album “Under the Sun” but also with its quality apparel. Fans who loved their music now have more options and wear their apparel, spreading the brand’s ethos of beach side bliss far and wide. Despite the change in focus, Neil and Jeff have not stopped making music, while Sean and Glen have gone their separate ways. A decade later, Jeff, Neil, and Duane re-formed Reef Bound Sol, LLC, out of Orlando, Florida and officially relaunched the music and the expanded clothing brand. They’ve integrated their tunes into the brand, attending beach clean-ups organized by Miss 2024 Sunshine State, Christy Walton and staying true to their origins.

Today, Reef Bound Sol is gaining notoriety in both music, boating, and beach fashion. Their journey from a band to an apparel company is a testament to their creativity, friendship, and unwavering connection from Hawaii to Florida coast lines to the sea and sun.
